Amazing Joshua Tree Anniversary Show
"I attended the J-Tree tour show at B.C. Place stadium in Vancouver in Nov. 1987. This concert reunited me with 3 friends from the '87 show. The opening with classic older hits was loved by me, leading into the full album with some rarely performed songs. I was really happy to hear Bad performed, one of my favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd songs, instead of MLK 2 nights earlier in Vancouver. The encore featured newer hits like Miss Sarajevo and the new song The Little Things That Give You Away, which was OK. I was thrilled that the concert ended with I Will Follow, with the crowd back on their feet. A truly great concert. I loved the use of the screen and technology in powerful but simple ways. I won't discuss politics in this review because that's not why I attended."
